Octosea

Mormolo Fishing

I developed the website for Mormolo (Octosea), an industrial fishing company based in Angola, focused on delivering high-quality seafood with strict standards of sustainability and processing.

The project involved translating a complex operational model into a clear and structured digital presence.

The main challenge was to translate a complex industrial operation into a clear and accessible digital experience.

The company operates across different markets, with distinct product focus depending on the region, requiring careful communication of both local and export-oriented activities.

Additionally, the lack of structured content and limited visual assets made it necessary to build a coherent narrative from fragmented information.

The solution involved structuring the company’s operations into a clear and logical digital narrative.

Particular attention was given to how different product lines and market directions were presented, distinguishing between local consumption and export-focused operations.

Key areas such as production processes, product types and sustainability practices were organised into accessible sections, allowing users to understand the full value chain.

The process involved close collaboration with the client, including in-person meetings to gather and validate information.

Significant effort was dedicated to understanding the fishing industry, including species, processes and sustainability practices, in order to ensure accurate representation.

Content structuring and visual curation were carried out iteratively, aligning technical information with a clear and accessible user experience.

The project resulted in a structured digital platform that clearly communicates both the company’s industrial operations and its positioning in international markets.

The website provides a clear distinction between local and export activities, improving transparency and reinforcing the company’s credibility with different audiences.

Overall, the solution strengthened the company’s digital presence and supported its positioning as a reliable supplier in both local and international contexts.
